CONVERSATION & COMMUNITY!
Der Kunstraum34 ist ein Kunstverein (Atelierhaus Filderstrasse 34 e. V.), der seit mehr als 30 Jahren Ausstellungen und Veranstaltungen durchführt.
Mit zentraler Lage in Stuttgart und besonderem Engagement für interdisziplinäre Projekte, versteht sich der Kunstraum34 (unter neuer Leitung) als Treffpunkt für Künstler/innen aller Disziplinen.
Mit diesem Ziel starten wir eine neue Initiative: Salon34!
Jeden zweiten Montag des Monats werden wir ab 19h den Salon34 bei uns im Keller hosten. Der Salon34 soll ein informelles Treffen für Künstler/innen sein, die dauerhaft oder vorübergehend in Stuttgart leben, oder auch nur auf der Durchreise sind. Ohne vorgegebene Form soll der Salon34 ganz frei den Zweck verfolgen sich gegenseitig kennenzulernen, persönliche Projekte und Ideen vorzustellen und vor allem neue Zusammenarbeit zu wecken! (CONVERSATION & COMMUNITY!)
Informell und offen, es gibt keinen Eintritt und keine Anmeldung im Voraus. Du kannst Deine Kunst mitbringen, fertig oder noch ‘in progress’, um sie anderen Besuchern zu präsentieren…oder Du bringst nur Dich selbst (und vielleicht einen Freund)! Projektor, Computer, Soundsystem und ein kleiner Flügel sind vor Ort und an der Bar werden verschiedene Gesprächsförderer angeboten.

Kunstraum34 is a registered artist club, which has been presenting exhibitions and performances for over 30 years in the city of Stuttgart, Germany.
Given the central location of the art space (Filderstr. 34) and the Kunstraum34’s commitment to interdisciplinary projects, Kunstraum34 (under new leadership) seeks to serve the artistic community of Stuttgart as a meeting point for artists of all disciplines.
With this in mind, we are excited to announce a new initiative: Salon34!
On the second Monday of every month, starting at 7pm, we will host Salon34: an informal gathering open to artists of all disciplines who live (permanently or temporarily) in Stuttgart or are visiting Stuttgart at the time. Salon34 aims to foster community among artists, stimulate conversation about the artistic process through presentations of finished and in-progress projects, and encourage collaboration between disciplines for future projects. (Hence, our slogan: CONVERSATION & COMMUNITY!)
There is no entry fee, and you do not need to sign-up in advance. You can bring your work, finished or unfinished, to present informally, or just bring yourself (and maybe a friend, too!) There will be a computer, a projector, a sound system, and a piano available for presenting on your work, should you choose to do so, and the bar will also be open.
